Hit Streak Now at 20 for Adams Friday, June 11th , 2049 Chris Adams of the Detroit Pizzas extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 4-1 triumph over the Brooklyn Knights at Pizzas Ballpark. "Chris has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Pizzas manager Evan Compton joked after the game. Chris Adams flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. So far this season, Adams has put up a .328 batting average with 84 hits, 8 home runs and 37 RBIs. |
