AL's Best Batter Picked Thursday, June 1st , 2051 Marco Estrada, the Portland third baseman, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .380 batting average with 35 hits, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 17 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Alliance League Batter of the Month honors for May. To date this year, Estrada is batting .335 with 9 home runs. |
