Player of the Week: Memphis's Chacon Monday, August 19th , 2047 Victor Chacon had a week for the ages as he romped to the Federation League Player of the Week Award. The happy-go-lucky 39-year-old still plays ball like a kid, mashing and slashing as he goes. The Memphis Chicks first baseman hit .562 last week as he chalked up 9 hits in 16 at-bats, 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. In the 2047 season Chacon is hitting .258 with 23 home runs. |
