FL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, May 29th , 2051 When it came to hitting the baseball, Albert Bencomo was in a class by himself in the Federation League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Sudbury tagged opposing pitchers for a .368 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 7 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 homers, 6 runs scored and 11 RBIs. Thus far this season, Bencomo is hitting .273 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs and 26 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 150 at-bats and has played in 43 games. |
