May's Best Rookie Named by FL Tuesday, June 1st , 2049 Mike Sizemore is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Federation League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In May the East Haddam hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .268 average with 22 hits, 5 home runs and 10 RBIs. For the year, Sizemore is batting .236 with 9 home runs, 18 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
