Hit Streak Over, Yinzers Stop Adams
Friday, August 9th , 2047
The hitting streak that Detroit center fielder Chris Adams had kept going for 36 games was ended by the Pittsburgh Yinzers. Adams was stymied over 3 at-bats, but the rest of his team picked him up, getting the 10-2 victory at Pizzas Ballpark.

"Hitting streaks come and go," Adams said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win."

This year, Adams has hit at a .349 clip with 154 hits, 7 home runs, 44 RBIs and 61 runs scored.
