Gonzalez Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Kings Saturday, May 29th , 2049 Today was a special one for Esteban Gonzalez of the Brooklyn Knights as he slammed three home runs in the 4-1 Knights win over the Los Angeles Kings. "Lately, I've been uppercutting the ball too much," he said to sportswriters after the game. "I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark. No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Brooklyn right fielder collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 3, and scored 3 runs in the contest at Sportsman's Park. Esteban Gonzalez struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Feltes in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Feltes in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Evan King in the 8th. Thus far this year, Gonzalez is batting .294 with 14 home runs, 22 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
