Sudbury 1B Hugo Cabrera Injured Wednesday, May 19th , 2049 It took the Sudbury team doctor a while to realize it, but first baseman Hugo Cabrera won't simply play through shoulder tendinitis after he got hurt colliding with a player at a base in today's Knights-Blueberry Bulldogs game. At first, it looked like Cabrera might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6 weeks. So far in 2049 Cabrera is batting .339 with 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 57 hits in 168 at-bats and a .391 OBP. |
