On a Roll: Thompson Hits for Cycle Wednesday, May 10th , 2051 Dublin's Peter Thompson accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Thompson finished 4-for-5 with 5 RBI and 4 runs scored and helped the Porters knock off the Osaka Takoyaki, 13-7, at Takoyaki Park. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Thompson told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Peter Thompson singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Eric Beasley in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
