AL Choice for Rookie of the Month Announced Monday, May 1st , 2051 An exciting talent to watch over the past month, Jon Avery made quite an impression. Today the Alliance League selected him as April's Rookie of the Month. The 22-year-old hurler for Los Angeles made 5 starts with 4 wins and no losses while tossing 36 innings and collecting 45 strikeouts.
