Waikiki 3B Will Miss 4 Games, Suspended by League Thursday, May 1st , 2053 The baseball commissioner has suspended Wayfinders third baseman Manuel Miramontes 4 games for arguing too vehemently on a called third strike in the Hanoi game at The Nest. Apparently he said the magic words and was ejected by the home plate umpire. He went into the dugout, then returned to the field, resumed his argument with the umpire and had to be restrained by his first base coach. Miramontes said he shouldn't have gone back on the field. "I was pretty mad. I was all over the place." Miramontes currently has a .250 batting average with 7 hits, 0 homers, 1 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .323 OBP. |
