Buffalo Catcher Hurt Sunday, May 2nd , 2049 The season is apparently over for Brett Artis. The Buffalo Buffalo medical staff informed the club that the catcher will be out at least 9 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Artis was hurt in the game against Havana while stealing a base. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Thus far this season in 11 games, Artis is batting .192 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 5 hits in 26 at-bats. |
