Portland Center Fielder April's #1 Rookie Saturday, May 1st , 2049 Youngster Matt Lamons emerged as the latest Alliance League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Portland deserved the honor, batting .351 with 7 home runs and 20 RBI. Is the month of April a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Lamons enjoy the limelight. |
