Kanzaki Picked FL's Top Newcomer Monday, July 1st , 2047 When you think of rookies, you think of men in their early to mid-20's. Despite the fact that Kenichi Kanzaki is 32, he made a big splash by putting up solid numbers to win Federation League Rookie of the Month honors. He told BNN reporters at the press conference, "I'm thrilled beyond words. All I can say is... better late than never." In June, the Saskatchewan left fielder hit .287 while rapping out 23 hits, 12 home runs, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored. So far on the season, Kanzaki is hitting .310 with 16 home runs, 29 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 44 hits and played in 53 games. |
