June's Spotlight Falls on Rookie Star Monday, July 1st , 2047 Youngster Jay Naylor emerged as the latest Alliance League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Detroit deserved the honor, batting .299 with 8 home runs and 16 runs batted in. Is the month of June a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Naylor enjoy the limelight. Naylor is currently batting .266 with 17 home runs, 45 runs scored and 36 RBIs. His OBP is .340. |
