Putty Honored by Alliance League Monday, April 26th , 2049 Ed Putty demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the Alliance League Player of the Week Award. The Brooklyn first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .556 average (10-for-18) with 3 home runs and 3 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year, Putty is hitting .347, produced 14 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 11 times and gotten on base at a .405 rate. |
