East Haddam Stops Clark Hit Streak Wednesday, April 9th , 2053 The Osaka Takoyaki lost to the East Haddam Hyenas, 9-1, at Takoyaki Park, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Sam Clark's 26-game hitting streak. The left fielder went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Clark, we would win the game," Hyenas manager Joe Jankowski explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." |
