Osaka Takoyaki Prospect, Kyle Montana, Making Waves
Monday, March 31st , 2053
Professional ballplayers are an elite club. They represent an incredibly select brotherhood, and it's natural among such groups for new players to get a lot of grief. Unequivocal praise is a rarity from veteran teammates; it's even rarer coming from the opponents.
"I don't know what to say," observed Detroit Pizzas player, Phil Beard, who went on to say "Kyle Montana really had it going today. Not to give the guy a big head, but if he keeps playing like that, he'll write his own ticket. If he puts it all together, he could be something really special." He flashed a grin. "I just hope he's not playing against us when it happens."
