Lansing Loses C Sanchez, Suspended by League Friday, March 19th , 2049 Juan Sanchez of the Lansing Red Storm has been reprimanded and given a 2-game suspension for a shouting match with the plate umpire during a recent game at Spring Ballpark with the Kyiv Cossacks. The Red Storm catcher said he didn't touch the umpire, but the umpire insisted he did. "I didn't see it, I didn't feel it," Sanchez said. "I was trying everything I could not to make contact with him. The league always sides with umpires. There is no use to appeal." |
