AL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, June 17th , 2041 24-year-old Setsujiro Takahashi sent shock waves through The Confederation of Baseball Dunces last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Alliance League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Takahashi made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .385 average, 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 home run and 10 RBI. Where the Brooklyn Knights right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Takahashi certainly made his mark last week. This season Takahashi has 4 home runs and a .382 batting average. |
