Arizona-Osaka Brawl, Potgeter and Pantoja Suspended Friday, April 29th , 2050 Yesterday at Desert Storm Stadium Ben Potgeter and Danny Pantoja got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Arizona Desert Storm and Osaka Takoyaki. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Potgeter will have to sit out 5 while Pantoja would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. In 2050 Potgeter has hit at a .318 clip with 27 hits, 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 21 times. So far this season, Pantoja has compiled a 0-3 record with a 6.89 ERA. |
