FL Names St. Louis's Edmondson Top Rookie Monday, June 1st , 2048 The outstanding rookie has been named for May -- and the winner is Nate Edmondson. The Federation League awarded the trophy to him today in a press conference. It was his dazzling 4-0 record that brought the St. Louis starter the Rookie of the Month award. Edmondson stood out last month with a 1.88 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 38.1 innings, fanned 43 and held other teams to a .144 average. This season, Edmondson has compiled a 6-1 record with a 2.71 ERA in 9 starts. |
