AL Names Best Player Monday, May 11th , 2048 When it came to hitting the baseball, Ed Putty was in a class by himself in the Alliance League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Brooklyn tagged opposing pitchers for a .433 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 30 at-bats, 3 homers, 8 runs scored and 7 RBIs. So far this season, Putty is batting .309 with 7 home runs. |
