Putty Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, April 11th , 2050 When it came to hitting the baseball, Ed Putty was in a class by himself in the Alliance League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Brooklyn tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award.
