Yinzers Alex Bacio Down and Out for Year Thursday, March 19th , 2048 The doctors have spoken and Alex Bacio of the Pittsburgh Yinzers didn't like what he heard. The 29-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Bacio sustained his season-ending injury during the Hanoi Dragon Warriors game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Pittsburgh medical staff reported Bacio had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11-12 months. |
