Roeber Grabs FL Reliever of the Year Award
Wednesday, December 4th , 2052
The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the Federation League reliever who put forward the strongest season.
This season, that player was Justin Roeber of the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, who was above all his peers in 2052.
"I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year."
On the season, Roeber pitched 58.2 innings, with 78 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.45. He also had 45 saves in 59 relief appearances.
Cheong-won Hwang of the Kyiv Cossacks finished second in voting, while Jason Dollar of the Waikiki Wayfinders finished third.
