AL Honors 2052 Great Glove Award Winners Wednesday, December 4th , 2052 Making the play is the mark of great defenders. Spearing a liner, diving in the hole or crashing headlong into the wall makes no difference to these awe-inspiring fielders. Magicians they sometimes appear to be, showing up out of nowhere to rob a batter of a hit and to turn a hit into an out. Pitchers love 'em and batters curse 'em. These defensive wizards will collect their 2052 Alliance League Great Glove Awards tonight: Pitcher Phil Beard (Detroit Pizzas) Catcher Byron Brymer (Detroit Pizzas) First Baseman Ricardo Bermudez (Yellowstone Super Volcano) Second Baseman Adam Grizzle (Yellowstone Super Volcano) Third Baseman Emilio Nin (Buffalo Buffalo) Shortstop Mike Hieronymus (Havana Sugar Kings) Left Fielder Bobby Blank (Yellowstone Super Volcano) Center Fielder Lorenzo Lobato (Hanoi Dragon Warriors) Right Fielder Luke Spradley (Wilmington Blue Rocks) |
