Alvarez Visits Children at Cancer Treatment Center Friday, February 23rd , 2052 Buffalo catcher Leon Alvarez took time out from his busy schedule today to visit a local children's cancer treatment center. Alvarez signed autographs and took pictures with many of the young patients. He even gave several of them caps, jerseys, and gloves. "Just seeing the smiles on these kids' faces, knowing what they've gone through, it just warms your heart", said a beaming Alvarez. When asked who his favorite player was, one little boy smiled broadly and exclaimed, "Leon Alvarez!" |
