More Injury Problems for Osaka's Steve Barone Monday, September 23rd , 2052 It was learned today in Osaka that shortstop Steve Barone would miss more time because his recovery from a strained medial collateral ligament was not going as well as expected. The Takoyaki, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Barone would only miss 5-6 weeks more. To date Barone has chalked up a .277 average with 13 home runs, driven in 52 runs and scored 61 times. |
