Best FL Reliever Named Thursday, December 8th , 2050 Justin Roeber was a calming influence out of the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 25-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Federation League Reliever of the Year Award for 2050. The Huber Heights, Ohio native won the award with 39 saves in 62 relief appearances, 87 strikeouts in 66.1 innings and a record of 5-5 to go with his 2.04 ERA. Alex Garcia of the St. Louis Archies finished second in voting, while Daniel Forsyth of the Osaka Takoyaki finished third. |
