Denny Named Top Reliever for AL
Thursday, December 8th , 2050
When Tanner Denny jogged in from the bullpen this season, opposing teams knew they were going to have a tough time putting up runs.
The Brooklyn Knights closer turned in a dominant campaign and has been named the Alliance League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2050.
His award-winning season saw the bullpen ace get 35 saves in 74 relief appearances, 100 strikeouts in 95 innings and only 35 walks. He had a record of 11 wins and 5 losses to go with his 2.94 ERA.
"I hope I can pitch like this every year," he said.
Noah Powell of the Hanoi Dragon Warriors finished second in voting, while Victor Velasco of the Portland Beavers finished third.
