AL's Best Hurler is Frick Thursday, December 8th , 2050 The Yellowstone Super Volcano have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Jack Frick, this year's Alliance League Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Frick compiled a 13-9 record in 33 starts, tallied 228 strikeouts in 238.2 innings and recorded a 2.87 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .238 batting average against him. Jason Scothorn of the Portland Beavers finished second in voting, while Zack Alvarez of the Havana Sugar Kings finished third. |
