"I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Hanoi first baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Dawson, who finished 4th in the AL in runs with 114 in 2049, finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 4 RBIs.
