Gutierrez Grabs FL Reliever of the Year Award Tuesday, December 19th , 2051 Jesus Gutierrez said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 24 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the St. Louis Archies rising star has won the Federation League Reliever of the Year Award for 2051. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.58 ERA over 79.2 innings. He also had 45 saves in 71 relief appearances, 106 strikeouts and only 24 walks. Cheong-won Hwang of the Kyiv Cossacks finished second in voting, while Alex Garcia of the St. Louis Archies finished third. |
