Frick Named AL Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Tuesday, December 19th , 2051 The Yellowstone Super Volcano have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Jack Frick, this year's Alliance League Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Frick compiled a 11-8 record in 32 starts, tallied 206 strikeouts in 216 innings and recorded a 2.67 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .219 batting average against him. Jason Scothorn of the Portland Beavers finished second in voting, while Alex Watkins of the Los Angeles Kings finished third. |
