Best FL Reliever Named Wednesday, December 8th , 2049 Satoharu Sato is anticipating a big payday after today being named the 2049 Federation League Reliever of the Year Award winner. "I've proven myself to be an elite reliever, so I think my next contract should be a big one," said the 36-year-old, who is an impending free agent, although currently still a member of the St. Louis Archies. The award-winner had a 3.51 ERA this season over 66.2 innings of work. He made 68 relief appearances and had 46 saves, 86 strikeouts, 29 walks and a record of 2-9. Opponent batters hit only .235 against him. Jeff Pledger of the Waikiki Wayfinders finished second in voting, while Kyle Sanchez of the St. Louis Archies finished third. |
