Dragon Warriors Move on to World Series Wednesday, October 20th , 2049 The Hanoi Dragon Warriors said they felt the League Championship with the Portland Beavers would go the distance. But it didn't end up being that difficult, as Hanoi advanced to the World Series with a 5-2 score, to clinch the series 4-2 at Beavers Park. "Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It's a big momentum boost for us," said Justin Gonsalez, who was named series MVP. "We're all feeling good about our chances to win the World Series." For the series, Gonsalez hit .474 with a .545 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Hanoi Dragon Warriors will play against the St. Louis Archies in the next round. St. Louis won their series against the Dublin Porters 4 games to 1.
