Los Angeles Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Monday, October 16th , 2051 The Los Angeles Kings season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Los Angeles has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," starting pitcher Jon Avery said wistfully. Los Angeles last appeared in the postseason in 2048. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 25 times in their 27-year history.
