Dave Nevarez Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Saturday, October 14th , 2051 The season is ending on a bad note for Dave Nevarez, reliever for the St. Louis Archies. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Nevarez was hurt against the Waikiki Wayfinders while throwing a pitch. He suffered bone chips in his elbow and will be out for at least 4-5 months. Nevarez's record this year is 7-and-0 with no saves and a 4.88 ERA. He has given up 104 hits in 101.1 innings with 106 strikeouts. |
