Starting pitcher Tony Ramos was a major factor in the 3-2 Hanoi Dragon Warriors triumph over the Buffalo Buffalo. The winning pitcher was Ramos, now 2-1. He tossed 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 4. Noah Powell earned the save for Hanoi, his 3rd.
Hanoi used a clutch at-bat from Danny Laines to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dragon Warriors ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Hanoi manager GM Schnee said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
With the loss, Buffalo is 7-6.
