Roland, Takoyaki Notch Nifty 1-0 Win Over East Haddam
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Osaka Takoyaki and the East Haddam Hyenas, Billy Roland, who finished 4th in the FL in innings pitched with 226.1 in 2048, was the difference-maker. The Osaka right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Earning his 1st save of the year was Daniel Forsyth. The Hyenas drop to 5-7, as their stumbling start to the 2050 season continues.
Roland, who was born in Roswell, New Mexico, threw 101 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Roland.
