Wayfinders Win, Pratt goes 4-for-5
|
Waikiki designated hitter Wes Pratt had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Dublin Porters, 12-4. Danny Dudley came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The Wayfinders, now 2-9, have not found much traction so far in 2050.
The game was at a stalemate until second baseman John Jones came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Dublin pitcher Evan King, he hit a 1-1 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Waikiki on top, 5-4.
"Nice win for us," said Pratt. "Now we'll go after the next one."
