Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Buffalo Buffalo and Hanoi Dragon Warriors.

Nick Rennie pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Hanoi Dragon Warriors, despite Rennie's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Buffalo Buffalo at The Greenhouse. Randy Nelson closed the game out for Buffalo, earning his 3rd save.

The Dragon Warriors had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Buffalo going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the three-time All-Star Bobby Rigling came to the plate. Rigling hit a run-scoring double on a 1-0 fastball from Hanoi hurler Nick Rennie. It was Rigling's 1st double of the year.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Rigling after the game.

The win gives Buffalo a record of 6-5.
