Ricky Castillo pitched well, but the Buffalo Buffalo still lost the game, falling 3-1 to the Omaha Aces at The Greenhouse. Joe Ray, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-0. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 8 hits and 1 run, while striking out 8 and walking 2. Nate Myers was credited with the save for Omaha, his 2nd of the season.

Dan Perrault, the three-time All-Star , had a direct impact on the outcome. Perrault contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Omaha up, 2-0.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Perrault told the Omaha Today.

Omaha, now 2-0, is setting the league on fire so far.
