St. Louis Moves on to World Series
Alex Garcia sparked his St. Louis Archies past the pesky Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs in a closely-contested League Championship.

St. Louis topped Sudbury 8-6 at Team2 Ballpark to decide the series, 4-2

For his efforts, Garcia was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .448 batting average, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

"You never want to leave anything on the field," Garcia said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win."

The St. Louis Archies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Portland Beavers - Buffalo Buffalo series. Portland leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes.
