Kyiv Sweeps into the League Championship
It's a sweet sweep for the Kyiv Cossacks and they have won the Divisional Series. The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs were not able to keep pace with the Cossacks and dropped the series in short order, losing, 7-2, in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Sudbury manager GM AllStar.

It's now on to the League Championship for Kyiv after their 3-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was left fielder Rod Garcia, who was named MVP. For the series, Garcia hit .583 with a .643 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Kyiv Cossacks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Osaka Takoyaki - St. Louis Archies series. St. Louis leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
