Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Knights, 6-5
Brooklyn seized control of the World Series at Brooklyn Coliseum, winning a vital Game 5 behind left fielder Kenichi Kanzaki. Kanzaki belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice during the 6-5 Knights win in 10 innings. They now hold a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 World Series.

Brooklyn got a knockout punch from Esteban Gonzalez. The center fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.

Game 6 is scheduled for Sunday at Team2 Ballpark in San Diego.
