Richfield Blanked by Keegstra, 4-0
|
It was not a good day at the plate for the Richfield Outlaws. They came up empty when it mattered against Jefferson J-Hawks left-hander Jamie Keegstra, who scattered 3 hits across 9 innings and held the Outlaws scoreless.
"We had 3 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Richfield manager Jimmy Cronin said later.
Keegstra chalked up 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 4-0 J-Hawks win.
Thus far this season, Keegstra has worked 82.1 innings with 64 strikeouts en route to a 8-3 record and a 3.50 ERA.
