Road Win Lifts St. Louis to 3-0 Lead in LC
Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Albert Salgado, the St. Louis Archies got a road win against the Kyiv Cossacks, 5-4, in Game 3 of the League Championship. Salgado was 2-5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Archies, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

With the game tied, 2-2, in the top of the seventh, Salgado had a key at-bat for St. Louis. With the bases loaded, Salgado hit a bases-clearing double off Gilberto Rivera, making the score 5-2, Archies.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Salgado.
