Series Lead Cut to 1 for Brooklyn After 4-3 Loss
The Yellowstone Super Volcano have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Brooklyn Knights, winning, 4-3, at Volcano Ballpark. Super Volcano left-hander Jack Frick threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Super Volcano to 3-2 in the best-of-7 League Championship.

Bobby Blank drove in one run for Yellowstone. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Blank had a clutch at-bat. Facing Brooklyn hurler Tanner Denny, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Super Volcano a 4-3 lead.

Blank called the win "a team effort."

Game 6 is scheduled for Thursday at Brooklyn Coliseum in Brooklyn.
